I made my second darkroom by hanging plastic bags from the rafters in my parents' basement.

They did a pretty good job keeping the darkroom dark but since they didn't reach the floor I could only work in there at night when there was no sunshine to creep in and even then I had to hope no one would come down and flip on a lightswitch somewhere else on the basement.

I made my first darkroom by shoving my clothes down the pole, storing my shoes under my bed and sitting on the floor of my bedroom closet cross-legged while I printed.

That's how nuts I was to make photographs.
