And if you have Photoshop and Bridge, just open the folder in Bridge,
click on the New Folder icon up the in upper R corner, call it what
ever you want (CW or CCW, maybe, if rotation is the concern). Then
click on the icon in Bridge that allows all you images to display as
a page of them would on a lighttable, you may already have this setup
- apprently it's default mode. Then paw through all your scans that
need whichever rotation, holding down whichever key it is that allows
you to highlight and add as you go (in the Mac OS, it's the Apple
(Cmd) key). As you finally approach the new folder and have selected
all the desired images, grab one of them and drag it to the new
folder. The rest will follow.
Then Select All and hold down that same key and unselect the two
folders, grab the images that are still selected and drag them to the
other folder.
As for eliminating the black, that's another problem entirely. The
crop tool seems to be still the only tool for that task. I've tried
a number of other possibilities, like using the Select command to
select the black by color, and then hitting delete, which could be
automated into an action, but that does not crop, unfortunately, and
you run the risk of accidentally deleting anything within the black
range inside the image.
