Don Roberts
Royal Gorge: Neat. Interesting, to me, graphic elements.

Quintin Tallon
Eric Girard 007: As Marilyn mentioned a bit too hot on the nose. In fact the whole photograph is probably a bit too contrasty. I am not sure - no I am sure - I find the cropping of the top of his head a bit distracting. His gaze is "out of the picture" and maybe this "shot" could have used a horizontal rather than vertical format with him being a bit to the left giving room on right. The bottom left dark shirt area does not really add anything in my opinion. Like the flower!

Roy Miller
Time Get Blown Away: Not sure about this. As a final image the weird colors draw my attention but the clock essentially is "just sitting there". Or maybe I am not seeing things. Probably this is the case.

Christopher Strevens
Roman Soldier: Kind of a static photograph. The closed eyes are a major downer. In fact, the
background is very distracting as well.

Emily L. Ferguson
Niagara Falls I: Good advice about visiting the falls. As Marilyn stated the photograph does have a dreamy quality to it - if that is what was intended it works - as far as depicting the essence of the falls it falls a bit short in my opinion. Instance when the parts are not equivalent or greater than the whole.

Trevor Cunningham
torajan rice field: I hate to say this but it looks like a dutch painting (?) except in a painting the field worker and the fruit of his labors would have been more evident. A telephoto lens might have compressed distances a bit and made the relationship between foreground and background stronger. In my opinion.

Gregory david Stempel
Seattle Space Needle No. 4: Reminds me of the very location I spent 6 months 1.5 years ago. Next to Lake Union and by route 5. I would have liked to see more evidence of the red taillights on the other side. As it is the white headlights dominate a bit too much. Or maybe if these were toned down maybe by covering them up for part of the exposure. The lighting at dusk is particularly effective.
