Thank you for your comments. Actually the “rock
formations” are not huge they are glacial erratic boulders assembled and
erected here by ancient man about 5000 years ago. It is a ring of standing
stones. There are several around here one at Avebury just up the road but a
village is very close to it and only a few people visit. I’m always
surprised how small it is. We went there again today on the solstice but it was
closed to all. There were 30,000 people there at dawn to watch the sunrise (it
