PS3 together with any modern digital prosumer camera (e.g. Rebel XTi) make it very easy. Set your camera to record 3 exposures in a row (I recommend -2 stops to +e stops). On the Canon it can be found under the main menu under AEB. Also set your camera to shoot in continuous mode which means, hold down the shutter for three consecutive exposures. Once you have your three exposures, import them into PS3 as HDr under file/automate/merge to hdr. You will be asked to upload your 3 exposures and PS3 will a.) Auto align the images then b.) Auto merge them into one 32 bit image. You should save this file as the master, then convert its mode to 16 bit where you will be prompted to choose various settings, each of which has a different look. Try them all to see what works best for your particular image. Anyone know anything about HDR? How do you do it? Do you need to bracket your exposures and put them together or something? If so, is there some special software to do it, or will Photoshop do it? Looking forward to hearing any tips...
