Last night when I crawled in bed to read before going to sleep, Ruth
asked what I was reading. It's a new book called Taking Your
Photography to the Next Level.
She asked me what my next level was.
I told her printing.
I think more people have seen my work since I've moved to displaying it
mostly digitally; I find the web has been very good for that. I also
see many more other people's work than I used to, for the same reason --
I can.
I'm trying to do more printing too. Last week I selected and printed a
dozen historical shots (my lifetime, not *really* historical) for a
display at a small science fiction convention I was at last weekend, and
that was fun, and seeing people react to the display was fun. Though I
think more people were reacting to the displays on laptops that a couple
of photographers there were making of their photos from that weekend.
