Hi Gang...............
Thanks for the suggestions so far..........
But..............
Shooting a stage show with
prime lenses doesn't work......
I need to use one or two zooms.
I don't time in a dark theatre
to change lenses while all sorts
of action is going on on the stage.
I am not just taking a few shots
of the high points of the show.
I am doing 300-400 shots
of the entire performance.
Also the 70-200mm is to long
on the short end of the zoom.
Actually my basic Canon EF 28-105mm
3.5-4.5 that I broke when I fell down the
stairs seemed to be sharper wide open
that the Tamron.
I may just need to stick to Canon
with what ever my choice of lens ends
up being.
