I'm guessing 'better' depends upon your vision of the final image and the subject you're shooting. I've heard 'fine art' defined as "art that is created for its own aesthetic purpose rather than for a practical, utility purpose. Art for art's sake." In my mind, I wonder how any one medium could be better than another specially in fine art. As for wedding photographers well I suppose there are a few who truly care about quality but if wedding photographers are anything like the other inhabitants of the planet (earth) I think its safe to say that the majority of them are in it to make a buck and go for the cheapest and fastest method which would be digital. As for losing more photos when a card goes bad, you also tend to shoot more shots and have more to choose from when the card doesn't go bad. Also, you can keep switching cameras during the shoot to minimize losses should one card go bad. Greg
