I could understand : the use of curved glass to give a magnifying effect but this would demand a : flat print. I'd be intereted in your thoughts on this. Michael Basically it's same reason textured papers came.. and went, frilly edges, guilded stamps and all the other fads - it seemed like a good idea at the time :) Whoever did it first was probably pretty pleased with themselves and then others followed. k
