If you do any significant amount of Photoshop work in preparation for the physical printing, think of Adobe RGB as "exposure lattitude" for your color range. At this point there may be some argument for shooting in aRGB.

If you don't ever work on a photo before printing, then don't worry about it.

Although, displays and printing technology are improving; you can now buy an LCD monitor that displays the full RGB space, and Epson (and no doubt the other printer manufacturers) is releasing improvements to their inks that increase the printable gamut. Yeah, I know, you're not planning these photos to be printed via inkjet; but are they the kind of photos that are definitely dead and gone after their first printing? Are you sure?
