Photo Studio: The setup is great.
Lighting and exposure are right on, and the backdrop is attractive. It looks as
if the subjects could have used a moment or two to relax a little,
however. They have the "dear-caught-in-the-headlights look, and I realize
this was a long exposure and I'm sure that's why. Since it is a long
exposure, the fact that there is no blinking or blurring is quite amazing.

Vandalism: An
interesting shot - especially the underground(?) train on top of the
structure. It also looks like a good location to zoom in on some of the
smaller subjects present, i.e., the bicycle, the graffiti on the one wall
portion, etc.

Cannons Beach Oregon,
USA: My thoughts (which, I realize aren't worth much {:->) are that the
photograph could have used a little more exposure or color saturation and I'd
like to see the people walking into the frame instead of out of it. The
photo does present the feel of being on a beach, however. The sky and
clouds cooperated as did the rough water. I too, like the umbrella.
Nice shot.

My commute: I
like this. It gives the feel of a pencil sketch or pointillistic
painting. I'm wondering if I would like it if the colors were
stronger. Maybe not - the soft colors are appealing, also.

Very nice. This photograph can look like a summer scene
photographed with infrared film, or a summer scene covered in snow. This
makes it interesting for me. I also like the softened edges.

Gate:
Recently you have posted some very nice and different types of images,
Christopher, and this one is no exception. You chose an
effective type of treatment for the "Gate" and it works perfectly.

One Idea of Fun: I
can't imagine myself doing this, Don, but it's interesting to see someone else
doing it. This is a nice shot because I can get a good sense of the
surrounding area and what the climber is doing. How far up is he?
This week's gallery offers a good selection of great
photographs. Thank you to all who contributed, and to Andy and staff for hanging
the show.
