Anyway, flare (Flair?) is part of the new look. It gets your 39 megapixel file a little closer to the sought after LOMO benchmark.

you'd think hey? especially the simple fact that they're just a lump of
plastic! Different in the days of metal lens hoods..
Now if we could just print lens caps.......
that would be nice :) I have met with some success using things like the
ends of carboard mailing tubes, pringles caps and various other odd shaped
bits of plastic.
In days gone by, plastic lens caps, duct tape, brassing and rope camera
straps were a sign of a pro, these days everything must be model specific
and must *sparkle*
