He was a member of the Australian Photographic Society and instigated the collecting of old camera equipment and photographic apparatus. By 1967 the Collection held more than 200 items and by 1978 over 480 items. The Collection was divided into six sections - cameras, meters, darkroom equipment, lighting equipment, stereoscopic equipment and miscellaneous items. By 1982 donations diminished until present day when the Collection is simply housed in a storage shed. It has not been shown at exhibitions for a number of years. -- If you do not want to receive any more newsletters, http://a-p-s.org.au/mail/?p=unsubscribe&uid=bafd7f3ce3f44fd270af89c19d6fd2bc To update your preferences and to unsubscribe visit http://a-p-s.org.au/mail/?p=preferences&uid=bafd7f3ce3f44fd270af89c19d6fd2bc Forward a Message to Someone http://a-p-s.org.au/mail/?p=forward&uid=bafd7f3ce3f44fd270af89c19d6fd2bc&mid=52 -- Powered by PHPlist, www.phplist.com --
