Fascinating story.

 

…I think ethics-wise it’s ok. My guess is Charlotte knew they were of value and at 96 years old she wanted to donate them to the museum, where they would be care for and appreciated - this being more important than their actual value.

Read it in the NY Times yesterday....fascinating how some of these things are aquired.

 

What did you think about the ethics of the museum guy knowing what he had and not saying anything...just making off with the goods, so to speak?

 

Is that ok or not?
