Having spent a good part of my life as an automobile photographer (Including a few BMWs)
My opinion is
I like the car better before. It sparkles and looks like a shiny object of desire. I think it looks like it's made of white plastic or somebody messed up the paint job in the after pic. Of course the background is much better in the after pic.

Robert,I was actually wondering about what kind of studio you had used or if you had shot it on location with the full blast of lights in every which directions. Very impressive PS work! Especially the replacement of all the outside reflections on the car with all the appropriate shadows as would be coming from a high ceiling set of lights. There should be a way of doing more of these "after" and "before" sets of pictures in the gallery.Well done!Guy----- Original Message -----From: Robert EarnestSent: Monday, May 14, 2007 7:40 PMSubject: So, what?On 5/13/07 8:17 PM, Karl wrote:
hey Robert, check out the changing style of car product shots ;)
Thanks, Karl! That is awesome!!!
With regards to my shot in the gallery this week. When the complaints came in about having no submissions to the gallery, I simply submitted the last thing I had done.
Perhaps it would be a tiny bit more interesting if you were to see where we started?
To the ?after? shot in the gallery, here is a link to the ?before? shot...
