French philosopher Blaise Pascal wrote some cemturies ago the following:
"The eternal silence of these infinite spaces fills me with dread"

In the present case, this silence is just a temporary (is is a
post-rant lull ??).
But nothing to get Blaise Pascal all worked up, I should
hope.
