St. Paul Academy and Summit School n St. Paul, Minnesota, seeks candidates for
the position of Upper School Photography and Yearbook Teacher.
The position is a full-time, one year, sabbatical replacement and begins
in August 2007. Candidates should possess the ability to advise the
Upper School yearbook and to teach beginning and advanced photography
using both analog and digital techniques while maintaining a wet
darkroom and Macintosh computers. Candidates should have experience with
teaching all aspects of desktop publishing, including working with
digital cameras, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, and PC computers. Candidates
should possess ability to work with advanced art students, with an
emphasis in photography, in a seminar setting, and should support the
mission of SPA and the vision of the Upper School, and should be able to
contribute to the life of the school outside the classroom. An M.F.A.
degree in photography is required.
