and i'm sure they have plenty of funding to equitably enforce this...when sony went after 12 year olds for downloading music on kazaa, they caught a lot of flack...this might be just the thing microsoft competitors need
or, on a brighter side, perhaps after the first year of data gathering, microsoft may discover a need to finally create a product that would excite people enough to actually go out and spend money. For me, a new Microsoft OS is like a tetanus shot. You get it because you have to and you're sore for a little while after.
