Nikon, Nimslo, and what looks like a Russian rip-off of a Stereo-Realist. Nikon you should recognize. Nimslo was a funky 1970's attempt at 3-D photography that required a special camera combined with special processing. The Stereo-Realist was camera that did two exposures simultaneously from a slightly different perspective. When the resulting two images were viewed simultaneously, the result had a more realistic perspective of image depth. This type of photography was very popular during the 1950's and 60's. That was also the period when the old Soviet Union was a closed society, and created copies of various Western technologies for its domestic market. -----Original Message----- From: owner-photoforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-photoforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Elson T.
