Happy groundhog day,
I'm about to log on to broadband Internet today and feeling rather
spooked about it. I've got one infested XP machine (very slow) and
one that miraculously stays clean - both on dial-up. If I connect them
to the broadband cable and the household ethernet router will the junk
on the infested machine contaminate the good one?
Thanks,
AZ
I'm curious as to why you don't run an anti virus program on both. It
is pretty important since both will be on the 'net.
Get a good virus scanner and spyware remover and run it on the "bad" pc
before putting it on the router. You could possibly corrupt the router too.
