Another thought just came to me.  You just missed one "price war" for laptops, the start of a new college year, but another is soon to be here, Christmas. 

So if you're not in a super hurry deals may be available soon.  Watch the usual sale ads for Micro Centers, CompUSA, Best Buy, etc
