I switched from nikon to canon when I went digital. I have a custom
set-up of controls on my 10D.
I expect it would confuse me at very important moments when shooting
to switch from one camera to another. Controls on the Nikons are
very different.
For that reason alone I wouldn't buy a Nikon at this point despite
that I, too, have a bunch of nice glass.
On the other hand, I have attempted to parse the secrets of the 20D a
few times now and haven't really cared for it much.
I think I'll be getting a 1D Mark II next.
