I use the Epson 2400 Photo to scan both prints and negs. I like it quite a bit but if I were to go back and scan years and years worth of negs I believe I'd get a film scanner made specifically for that kind of work. It gets tedious putting the film strips in this one.

I have and love the Epson 2200. It's archival, prints up to 13" x 19" (longer if you use roll paper) and is easy as pie to use and maintain.
