Pini Vollach - Dauro Valley - Portugal
When this one first started to download it took a few seconds and my
first thought was that it was somewhat flat. Then at the bottom, I was
glad to see the road go off in the distance and see trees. These things
added some depth and dimention. I like the way the rows are defined with
the fence(?). A little less contrasty than I like, but nice all the
same.

Per Ofverbeck - Pulsatillas
Beautiful violet colors and nice detail on the center flower. The frame
is filled with the plant itself and makes for a pleasing background.
Very pleasant to look at and enjoyable.

Renate Volz - peace
I got this one right away. When my dad remarried 7 months after my
mother's death, I was so angry I flew off a couple of not-so-nice
letters to him and his not-so-new bride. Later, when I went to meet her,
I brought her a whole potted "Peace Lilly" as a way of expressing my
acceptance. I like the way you have captured this developing flower.
Someone mentioned the leaf surrounding the bud. That is actually the
flower itself and will open to a beautiful white petal. Good job.

D.L. Shipman
Beautiful. What else can I say? The colors are exceptional and the focus
on the eye, clear. I think I would like to see a little more detail in
the feathers if it were possible.

Charles Dias - Dead Tree
Poor tree. So isolated. No wonder it died. (kidding) I like that you've
converted this to b&w. It adds to the feeling of abandonment, isolation,
death. Good use of contrast. But maybe just a little bit more.

CM Roberts - Clown
The thumbnail was a little frightening. Not much of a happy clown. I was
delighted to see the rabbit in the bigger picture. It softened the over
all expression of this one. I get the feeling he is protecting his fuzzy
little friend. A great portrait, fine contrast. An inspiration. Thank
you for sharing this one.

Elson T. Elizaga - Butcher's Best
I like this picture for an advertisement. The name on the plate says it
all. For some reason, I'm craving a nice thick, juicy grilled steak.
Can't understand why. (NOT) Mmmmmmm, great shot.

Gregory david Stempel - Slideshow
Another great portrait shot. Good coloring and contrast. I'm not so
interested in what's on the computer. I'm familiar with slideshows. I
would like to see the screen apart from the shirt behind it. A little PS
might do the trick.

Thanks to all who participated. And, Bob T. please come back. When I got
over the little sting of your comments, I see you give me much to
consider, and I began looking forward to your comments. They help me to
improve my work, and I do love seeing your photos as well. I can only
hope to aspire to your level of expertise. And I mean that in all
sincerity.
