It isn't that complicated for a digital lab to make a black and white negative from a file. My pro lab in South Africa did them and they had a wet darkroom and made fibre based prints.
But I guess you're talking direct and there is no process for making a black and white fibre based print directly from a digital image file.
But then how many people who want fibre-based prints. are shooting digital?
