me too!   err... just tried this with photoshop and I *hope* later versions
make more sense than what I experienced with 5.5 (!)



turning off resampling drops access to the pixels and merely changes the
dpi

in other words, it didn't actually resize the image, merely wrote another
dpi value to the image metadata!



is this for real??


what is this supposed to achieve?
