Am I a survivor? Yesterday I was out on a trip to Church at East Grinstead to tell of these terrible things and basically felt ill on my way home and went to the local hospital they said you are too ill to go home and there was no A&E so I was taken by taxi (I paid) to Tonbridge Wells A&E (the nearest) and sort explained and was given a label and blood tests and things, I went to sleep and now I'm home there is a scratch down by breast and I think I had a heart transplant. Basically I died in the hospital and that was the only chance. So I'm alive for a bit longer now (that's nice). They said no acute event had occurred so I suppose the radiation was only heat and ultra violet, they said the burn was "mild", a radiation accident... But of course not an accident - war. Well I've got someone else's thumb and someone else's testicles (?) so someone else's heart...well! Ever heard of the monster of Frankenstein.... Well I've still got my brain. Yakub I think was the nice Egyptian surgeon. Sorry I thought he was a psychiatrist.... >I remember a flash in the sky, I looked up and saw a ball of fire, I >thought "that's the sun, I must not look at that" so I looked away.
