Before I bought the Canons I looked into backs for the medium format cameras, I didn't feel like selling the house to make the switch to digital! And from the reports I had read and herd from first hand owners not that great.

Good/mechanical bodies (Nikon F, FM2, F4, Canon F1,
EOS, etc...) and any with a removable back could be
converted or adapted a digital back. I suppose medium
format is ahead in that trend.

Maybe professor Davidhazy can rip them apart and wire
a hand scanner for a fee ;)

Anybody ventures a million?
