re: Trevor Cunningham's photo of the "RC Church within a Mosque" in Córdoba. It interestingly conveys the dark period following the ouster of the Moors from Spain in the 15th Century. Having just taken a nearly identical photograph last month (without the "dark" interpretation), I can relate to it. The civilization of the area (and much of the Islamic world, as well) was set back for centuries after the ouster and his rendition conveys that marvelously. It could also reflect the color of Queen Iabella's skin as she reportedly bragged that she had only bathed once or twice in her life -- as she had all the Muslim baths destroyed!

A bit of confusion caused by RIT fiddling with mail system. Send your contributions early and anything you can do to prepare the photographs so they do not require additional adjustment would be much appreciated. Guidelines for participating in the weekly or the series exhibits are available by
following the link provided on main gallery page given above.

Note that the Series exhibit has a collection of photographs by members of the Sound Exposure Photo Club of Gig Harbor. Individuals and other groups welcome to exhibit in a similar manner. Also, the Student Gallery welcomes work by students groups worldwide! Last week there were about 300 visits to gallery.
