re: Trevor Cunningham's photo of the "RC Church within a Mosque" in
Córdoba. It interestingly conveys the dark period following the
ouster of the Moors from Spain in the 15th Century. Having just
taken a nearly identical photograph last month (without the "dark"
interpretation), I can relate to it. The civilization of the area
(and much of the Islamic world, as well) was set back for centuries
after the ouster and his rendition conveys that marvelously. It
could also reflect the color of Queen Iabella's skin as she
reportedly bragged that she had only bathed once or twice in her
life -- as she had all the Muslim baths destroyed!

Send

they do not require additional adjustment would be much
appreciated. Guidelines
