http://www.rit.edu/~andpph/gallery.html include: 1 Museki Abe - Autumn Color 2 Proof of why photos don't always need a clearly defined subject. Sometimes the atmosphere itself is enough and the person-in-red-anorak-stood-purposefully-on-left-lower-thirds would kill it. However, to really work pictures like this need to be blown up to poster size and displayed on a wall with back projection (or a plasma screen). 2 Lea Murphy - Angel Very Cute dog. Touch of vignetting? 3 Pini Vollach - reflection As with Mitty's shot. No clear subject but I'm in the sort of mood today to not care. Should I say ... it's just nice to look and think rather than have an over-composed creation which only has one message. 4 Don Roberts - Garden Spider Well done, but it's just a spider. You need to get closer to the eyes for some real drama :o) 5 David Small - Hells Kitchen N.Y.C. This "underexposed" treatment for mw would look better on colour negative (assuming it wasn't) with a slight yellowy cast "from the streetlights". As it is it has some atmosphere but lacks either the dramatic coincidence or humourous candid touch characteristic of much of David's work. 6 Greg Fraser - Double-mega-multi-millionaire OPA? Sorry Greg ... I'm hoping this is a work in progress because it's ... err ... not doing it for me. Q
