Greg I'm intrigued to know how you know ... or at least how you measured this? Presumably you have measured but the physical aperture and the focal length? An f3.5 lens (physical dimensions) could easily behave as an f4 lens (light transmission) ... remebering an old debate on f-numbers vs t-numbers :o) Vlad
