Kostas,

Glad I threw the topic on the table and I agree, thanks to all who answered and offered help.

The thing is, like so many concepts which are hard to grasp, it all makes sense when it's laid out very, very simply.

I realized after working most of yesterday to get my system set up and running as I want it to be that I did indeed have my PC calibrated well but I did it without ever understanding what I was doing and how all the parts fit together.

Now I have a much better grasp of why color spaces in certain areas impact things in other areas.

It feels good to be on top of this.
