Bless you all for putting up with all my funky questions and always
giving such good advice and quick answers.
As you may recall, I've recently jumped ship from pc to mac and am
printing to an Epson 2200. I am, for the first time ever, getting
some banding on my prints and would like to run a head check but I
can't figure out on the mac where to go to do it. If it matters I'm
running Tiger 10.4.
Would someone please enlighten me?
In Applications/Utilities, find the Printer Seup Utility and double-
click it. In the printer list that opens, select your printer. Then
click the toolbox-like icon in the top row in the same window. After
a while, the EPSON Printer Utility will start, for some unexplicable
reason displaying a NEW "Printer List" without paying any attention
to the selection you just did...
Anyhow, select your printer again, and click OK. Now, believe it or
not, the Epson arsenal of roundabout ways must be depleted, because
you should actually see a list of available checks, including Nozzle
Check and Print Head Alignment.
Good luck!
