8 months ago I bought a brand new Mitsubishi 19" CRT. It is an awesome
monitor, although not expensive. I really liked it.

Then, I bought a 17" HP Pavillion LCD monitor. Wow! I love the tilts
and height adjustments and the colour is always dead on. Plenty of
colour adjustment is available to match whatever you want. It was
pretty cheap too, LCD prices are really coming down fast.

I love the LCD for taking up less space and better colour consistancy,
but I love the CRT more for gaming and perhaps it's exaggerated but
gorgeous colour range.

Tough choice, but if desktop space is not so great, the choice becomes
easy. A 19" CRT is huge. I love the easy height adjustment of the LCD.
Can't do that with a CRT.

I was also suprised that the 17" LCD screen was almost the same
viewable size as the 19" CRT.
