To make it patently clear the deadline is when the number of submissions reaches a significant number ... like 8. After checking the number of entries so far the number is at 4 so you still have plenty of time. Of course, you could wait until after the deadline has passed! Tell you what, once a respectable number (like 8) has been reached a notice will be circulated on the list giving all procrastinators like you a heads-up that they only have 24 hours (in your case one minute) to send their entry or else.
