I have my Canon D-10 set to Adobe RGB.
When I open the image in PS 7
(have the upgrade to CS2 on the way)
it tells me that this image doesn't have an
embedded color profile.
I am given three options
Leave as is Don't color manage
Assign working RGB (Adobe 1998)
Assign profile(there is a box with selections of profiles)
and a box where I can check to then convert document to working RGB.
I would guess that under normal conditions I would assign working RGB
unless I was printing with a paper that I had down loaded the profile for.
