Advice, please, re: labeling purchased photos...

Greetings PhotoForum fans,

I've recently initiated my third photography exhibit and - lo and behold - someone wants to buy a couple of the photos! ;) I'm very pleased as this represents my first major sale (other than weddings), and this sale will pretty much cover my expenses for this show.

The issue on which I'm seeking advice regards how I might now label these photos so that I encourage additional sales. I see my options as:

1. Not writing anything on the label, but offering up the information that I've sold a copy of this photo if asked;

2. Writing something like "Sold; additional copies available;" (but, this approach seems to me that it might discourage potential buyers);

3. Writing something on the label like "Thank Mr. Bill for your purchase," which is nicer, but might have the same effect as option 2; or,

4. What options can you all suggest that are different from the above or reinforce the above????

I'm mostly a lurker on this site and an occasional submitter for the Gallery, and I do enjoy reading your opinions on a variety of issues!

Thanks,

Tim!
