The Kaiser is not recommended by me. It is a rather flimsy machine. made almopst entirely of plastic. The  column is too thin and it vibrates for too long after you put the negative carrier in (Soft prints) Also check out the winding knob and the focus knob. They tend to slip after some use.
There should be many people selling good enlargers at this time when people are moving to digital. See if you can get an Omega or a Besseler.

hi all!
I will be needing the list's input on the Kaiser VC60 enlarger.
this is a straightforward B&W old model and is one of the 2 options a friend and me have on buying a used one in an incredible price (for local standards)

Our second choice is a Meopta 5 model, and both pieces are on sald from the shop of a retired photographer. Both have a medium format plate, come with a Rodenstock lens, and at the same price with lens (200 euros)
(that is good because shops in Greece sell only used ones like an meopta 6 with 135 film pate for E300 sans lens - obvioulsy bought from amateurs going away from B&W)

So we tend towards the kaiser, but I would like to hear about your experiences with these 2 enlargers is any...

thansk, kostas
