Excellent point: We asked him to make two pictures and compare. No response.

What are the lens elements? What is his purpose with these lenses? No response.

Maybe we should suggest he slam each one onto the cement and see which bounces?

Dumb follow-up.

I have discovered some High School students on these lists who have no motivation except to ask questions without follow-up and then get mad because there's no definitive answer.

There are some members to this list who will test your lens for you and let you know the details, then you make a decision.

Definitive statement from me.  Why is this question still on the list?

It might be simple to you, but to me it's well hidden.

Riu has both lenses: he wants to know which is best.

How can we answer.
What was so wrong with suggesting he took the same shot with both and
compared them?
Surely, if it works it works *whatever* any lens tests say.

His reply indicated he had completely dissed the suggestions. That's
not very polite either.
