Hi Julian,

If you stick around long enough you will find that we also poke fun at ourselves. Most of us have been here for a while. Usually the ones who leave don't know how to have fun or get offended easily. For me, I need a good laugh at least once a day. I'm not into technical stuff. It's too much clutter for my scattered brain anyway. So I tune in here and read nearly every day and save the mail I think I might need for future reference.

Don't be surprised if you get razzed for your mail. Just don't sign off in a huff. Stick around. This is the most 'fun' group with good information I've found so far. ;o)

I'm new to this group and don't understand why you all poke fun at
people with questions. The answer to this is simple. Why not just give a
straight forward answer instead of making the person feel smaller?
The technique I use is to turn the camera around so I'm looking
through from the front of the lens. This makes everything smaller and
thus easier to photograph, especially extra-large objects like
elephants. This also works with other optics like binoculars.

Hmmm, methinks you take me too seriously.
