Dear Marilyn, Since I am not a succesful editor, I don't know what would be "the right" thing to include in a biography. However, I would like to tell people what I have gone trough, my misadventures and hard-learned lessons. My workflow might be interesting to some, and maybe someone would like to know what I am trying to "say" with my pictures. Of course, I'd also like to voice some opinions (digital vs film anyone?) :) If you are conducting "live" interviews (not written questionaries), I'd suggest you open with a general question (ie "Why do you photograh"?) and let them talk as much as they want. Then jot down the questions that arise in your mind along the answers (ie "You say you have a personal motivation, yet part of your work is clearly commercial - can you elaborate on that"?). And one fine tip for the interviewer: do NOT offer or hint the answer (ie "And now that you are succesful..." or "It must have been hard to do this...").
