Hi Shyrell,

Because it's the closest thing to something magical I've found.

I still get the same feelings of "something wonderful is happening" every time I see an image rise from the chemicals in a dark room. It's like the Phoenix rising from the ashes.

Photography allows me to capture a moment in time that can never be physically revisited, but never be changed. In a quiet moment - when I can focus on an image - I can go home again.
