The only way to do this is to turn off the flash and use natural light. She'll always get flash back if she's shooting glass straight-on.

I'd suggest a nice big north light window, prop the art on an easel and use a big white reflector opposite the window to kick light back in and even the light out.

Not a hard project once the set-up is made.
