I've been learning how to use my new digital camera, but have to keep replacing the batteries almost as fast as I put them in. I know how to turn off the review window (after burning up two sets of batteries already). What kind of batteries do all of you use? Would it be worth it to invest in rechargeable batteries along with a charger? Or should I just get a transformer and trip over the extension cord?

Thanks.

You didn't mention what your digicam is.......

Some use AA cells others use other catteries.

If you use AA cells you should use rechargeable NiMH cells.

I was at Sam's Club today and saw a package of 8 Energizer brand 2500mAH NiMH cells for less than $16
There was no charger but less than $2 for a 2500mAH AA is a good price.

Check your owners' manual for the battery recommndations.
