I really did not miss one day and play catch up...that was not allowed. I missed 14 days total...Rachel and family were in Florida for a week and then I was out of town for a week. Those were the only days missed. I obtained permission to use the music on this dvd by taking the bull by the horns and just getting the job done. Or I contacted each musician and asked for permission which was gladly granted. I couldn't imagine copyright infringing on a project like this. One of the preceeding is true. :o) As far as being clear that one day did not lead to the next and being confused about which images belonged to which day, I downloaded after each shoot into a directory named with that day's date. If for some reason I had a couple days' shooting on one disc I simply checked the create date from within Photoshop's exif data...very handy for a project like this. Also, backing up to cd and dvd was critical to my peace of mind. I did this same project with my daughter when she was born (and again her senior year of high school) except back then I was using film . To keep track of those images I had a calendar and each evening I would make a note about where the images for that day were taken. When the film came back from the lab I cross-referenced it to the calendar and wrote the dates on the back of each image and the date spread on the negative holders. Digital was 1000 times easier than film...and cheaper, too!
