I'm just starting to learn about RAW file format for my digital camera.
I bot a 1G 80x card to handle the image file size , and transfer rate.
but from everything I'm reading I either need to upgrade to Photoshop 8.0
or buy other software specifically for handling the images.
any suggestions about other software that works well for
working on these images? or should I just upgrade photoshop?

I do the same thing in Photoshop, it's annoying though. I am starting to think that a decent digital camera and regular copy work is better than scanning...
