Re: Oregon in February?

I lived in Oregon for three years and it rained for practically half of that.  I lived in th WIllamette valley east of the coast range.  In the winter, you could expect rain in the valley with moderately cool temperatures.  On the coast, it was colder, the rain was heavier, and the wind was stronger.  But like Jimmy said, it's a crap shoot.  The coast is dramatically beautiful, rain or shine.  Now I live in a polluted desert...the juxtaposition is amazing.

Can someone from this list fill me in on whether it's worth driving
up to Oregon to shoot the coast during the end of Jan, beginning of
Feb?

Jen's memorial service is on Jan 22, in Inverness, so I'm thinking of
spending time out there, having gotten that far.

Is it clear, or rainy/stormy on the Oregon coast at that time of year?

What's the average temp? Can I camp or do I have to stay in motels?

thanks
