Folks who have the four color C series Epsons-try out Epson Durabrite Glossy Paper and ...... Epson Heavyweight Matte for a 'softer' rendition. Do not use any other glossy papers if you want to see the best your C series can put out. These printers are optimized for water resistance printing on plain papers. The Epson Durabrite Glossy is a nice smooth surface that accepts the Durabrite inks very well.
Great six color printer (ind. ink carts) is the Epson R series, the R200 is USD 99.00 or less. Prints on printable compact discs too.
Of course as the features increase on the R series... so does the price. The R500 is a real nice packaged all-in-one if you need a scanner.
