Well you my be sure but you are wrong. Copyright exist for the life of the 
artist plus 70 years. There are  no renewal now.

Are you sure about that? I thought they did away with the right to renew when 
they extended the copyright to the life of the artist plus 70 years.

70 years.  After that time, the estate or photographer (read principle
artist, author, etc.) has the option to renew that copyright
