Rolling Deadlines: Summer 2004
Encyclopedia of Twentieth-Century Photography
The editors of the Encyclopedia of Twentieth-Century Photography, to be published in 2005 by Routledge, NY, are seeking contributing authors from a variety of backgrounds (photography, art and art history, design, cultural studies, theory and criticism, technical, etc.). This richly illustrated, three-volume, scholarly reference work is edited by Lynne Warren, Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Illinois. All of the 650 entries (ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 words) will bear contributors’ names, who will receive a complimentary encyclopedia set for the first 2,000 words they are commissioned to write. We encourage submissions from a range of contributors, academic and non-academic. Upper-level graduate students will also be considered. For submission guidelines and a list of unassigned entries, see the Routledge/Taylor and Francis website: http://www.routledge-ny.com/tcphotog/ or contact Lynn M. Somers-Davis, Editor, Reference, Routledge, 29 W. 35th Street, New York, NY, 10001; email: 20cphotog@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or fax (212) 563-2269
